Takin’ it Outdoors

If you know Mixed Reality, you know that AR glasses (MR) are the next logical step in hardware evolution. At Lucky we have years of experience testing prototype MR glasses of the future and buildings games for it. We push the limits of unreleased hardware and Meta Quest 3 and playtest our prototypes outdoors as well. Though we’ve launched Mega Fireball as an indoor game, we’ve experimented plenty outside in parks, backyards and even over swimming pools! The future of gaming includes the outdoors!

Mixed Reality with Anyone, Anywhere

Mixed Reality doesn’t have to mean you’re all in the same space. We’ve built a system (codename: Sandwich AR), where we allow you to play games or just hangout with your friends no matter how far apart you are. A brand new shared state of Mixed Reality. You no longer have to be in VR and unplugged from your environment and those around you. Also note, there’s no cyber (motion) sickness in MR!

An Extension of You

We all at some point dreamt we could fly. Or perhaps dreamt of super-human abilities. Leap over buildings in a single bound or crawl up walls like a spider with ease. The typical Mixed Reality experience of the past doesn’t permit these dreams to come to fruition. Our studies and exploration take MR out of the box and allow you to step into the shoes of the super, the amazing and the magical! We take MR outside, it’s a big world out there… so we go BIG!!!

Our Past Explorations

Lucky Juicebox is a team of Mixed Reality experts. Co-Founder Chris Stoski helped ship Pokemon Go (world’s most succesful AR game to date) at Niantic and created Niantic’s AR Think Tank. Countless hours have been spent studying and prototyping games and entertainment of the future and how to infuse delight and magic with technology. Lucky Labs continues to drive innovative and fun experiences for mixed reality and visions of the future.
